| OVERVIEW | This is a big, bold Barossan shiraz. The fruits are dark and intense, with plum, blackberry and raspberry flavours. The mid-palate is also quite intense, almost urgent in nature, and is chock full of dark brooding flavours, with dried herbs, roast fennel and strong mocha overtones. The tannins are firm and ripe, with a slight drying effect. The acid balance seems good and the finish is long. |
