Distilled in Speyside at Balvenie distillery, this is the fourth chapter of the distillery's stories series. This non age statement expression has been matured in American oak casks before being finished in sherry casks. The whisky has then been bottled at a strength of 43% abv.

Back when some of today’s distillery workers were still but loons and quines, David C Stewart was working on a new creation. It would become the world’s original cask-finished single malt Scotch whisky, the making of which involved maturing the liquid in one cask, before transferring it to finish maturating in another.
