This Macallan is the second edition under the motto 'A Night On Earth in Scotland' and was bottled on the occasion of the Scottish New Year's Eve festival, Hogmanay in Gaelic. The Single Malt was matured in a selection of American first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, as well as European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks. The special gift packaging was designed in collaboration with the renowned Chinese artist Nini Sum. The artist Nini Sum lives in Shanghai and specialises in prints, mixed media, collages and murals. The outer packaging of this Macallan bottling symbolises the coming together of people during the festive season.
