Illustrator Alfredo Rios has created artwork found on the inside of each pack that brings to life some of the key cultural elements central to the Day of the Dead festival. Among other things, the marigold flower, which symbolizes the hope of being reunited with loved ones, as its scent is believed to attract the departed souls.
The guitar represents the importance of "Mariachi" music to the celebration. This music is a way of saying goodbye and accompanies the soul to the afterlife.
Flowers, birds, fish and hares are of cultural significance during the festival as they represent the cycle of life.
