Nice light aroma of strawberry, with flavors of black currant and blackberry. Medium tannins and some minerality are a great combo. Finish of walnuts. A good choice for the weekend - bold enough to drink on its own. Made by Vignerons de Puisseguin Lussac Saint-Emilion, a farmers cooperative of 150 growers. The Lussac Saint-Emilion area is the most northerly in Saint-Emilion - a bit higher and cooler, and with soil that has a bit of clay.
