| TASTING NOTES | NOSE Creamy vanilla yoghurt with hints of hazelnut to start. A soft mineral note builds from underneath, pairing with sweet spiced bread, orange peel, brown sugar and white pepper. Toffee and milk chocolate truffle peek out at the end. PALATE Soft spice grows, pushing its way through sponge cake and orchard fruit. Gentle notes of barrel char provide a background of smokiness, which builds over time. The smoke is balanced by dried fruit, dark chocolate and candied lemon. FINISH The char lingers, with spiced studded orange peel and chocolate notes growing and then fading. |
