The highly-anticipated release of the Springbank 30 Years Old 2022 is here! This well-matured whisky aged for 30 years in a combination of 85% bourbon and 15% sherry casks, and was bottled in April 2022 at 46%. Springbank 30 Years Old 2022 is a sweet and syrupy dram with aromas of tropical fruits and vanilla on the nose. The palate is waxy with sweet, citrusy flavours of lemon and tangerine, complimented by a delicate peat smoke and notes of opal fruits, sherbet sweets, Turkish delight and coconut. The tropical fruit carries through on the finish, along with a waxy element and a hint of mint leaf. Only 1400 bottles have been released.
